The target area of the Programme in Helsinki consists of Myllypuro, Kurkimäki, Kontula, Kivikko and Vesala with adjoining workplace areas of Itäkeskus, Roihupelto and Herttoniemi. Correspondingly, the target area in Vantaa encompasses Hakunila, Länsimäki, Sotunki, Ojanko and Länsisalmi with Porttipuisto and Hakkila workplace areas. Some 45 000 people live in the Programme Area; 30 000 in Helsinki and 15 000 in Vantaa.
